- Real-life patient case scenarios illustrating who can be managed using standard anemia treatment protocols and who requires more individualized care
- A question and answer session with advice from faculty experts

Objectives
Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:

- List factors that can cause dialysis patients to be considered outliers for standard anemia treatment protocols

Any off-label use was made known to the audience at the time of the meeting. The faculty presenters discussed off-label dosage increases of epoetin alfa that are greater than 25%. Participants did not discuss any pharmacologic therapy that is off-label. Also, participants were asked to refrain from using trade names of drugs if possible.
